There are people who found the positive side of this abnormal summer with so many storms in the Northern Italy. Our friend Cryzia from Franciacorta (near Brescia), sent us these sensational pictures of  13th of june and of 9th of july 2014 windsurf sessions at the Iseo Lake, with the best local riders in action.

Windsurf session: Iseo Lake on fire

We publish them with Cryzia's words. In such cases, it's no use to take a filght to Pozo Izquierdo.... Iseo Lake, a quiet place for family holidays, shows its bad side!

You don't hear often of Iseo Lake... but when you don't expect, in summer time, a thunderstorm arrives and Iseo lake turns into a wind machine. So, the avid local riders give themselves a move not to loose a fire session! As happened a wednesday and a friday towards the evening, some weeks ago.

A strong North wind due to low pressure, accompanied by rain showers, finally opened cloud cover, and helped the sun rays to light lake surface!! And it gave riders excting conditions. What a show!!!!

Impossibile for viewers not to be fascinated by tricks repertoire of the most brave local riders as the PRO surfer Mattia Fabrizi (european juniores and italian freestyle champion), Beppepizza, Luca Briconi and many more!!!

In those days, the sessions took place in front of Iseo village spot, but you could find the same conditions at Kanu beach – the Corno, or Tavernola, which are on the opposite lake shore.

The webcam, available on the website http://www.awtiseo.it/index.html, of the association A.W.T. Toline (webmaster: Maurizio Sorosina with the help of Beppepizza, and Francesco) avoids windsurfers unuseful travels to the spot, if there are no good conditions.
