Trekking, hiking, climbing, skiing, and MTB
I have been walking in the mountains for more than 40 years, and I still haven't gotten tired... If the walking itinerary is like yesterday's one, in Fedox valley, in the Engadin, Switzerland, with its enchanting autumn sceneries, boredom is a really unfamiliar state of mind. In this article, we describe the trek that leads you to discover this valley, and the adjacent Fex valley, starting from Maloja, on the shores of Lake Sils.

The Supramonte, in Sardinia, is a world to discover: wild mountains, and a proud and wonderful nature. We started to explore it, following the itinerary that from S'Abba Arva (Dorgali) leads to the spectacular Gorropu Gorges, an impressive natural canyon.

The cross-country ski trail that runs from Livigno in the direction of the Forcola pass and arrives at Alpe Vago is truly a pearl. In particular, the stretch of track around Alpe Vago is technically very varied and fun, and allows you to ski in an almost intact natural setting, where a blanket of snow, almost always generous, covers the meadows and mountains around, and where a silence almost total helps you immerse yourself in a fairy-tale natural environment.
Out of season, Lake Garda is perhaps even more enjoyable and pleasant than in summer, due to the mild climate it offers, and above all because there are no crowds of tourists, typical of the high season. Saturday 15/01/2022, taking advantage of these circumstances, we reached Limone del Garda, and we made the excursion that leads to Punta Larici, one of the most extraordinary panoramic points of the whole lake.
Finally, I fulfilled a dream: doing the De Luca - Innerkofler via ferrata on Mount Paterno, in the Sesto Dolomites, an aided hiking route that develops in an iconic scenario dominated by the Tre Cime di Lavaredo (Drei Zinnen).

I often happen to search for new destinations and new tracks to go cross-country skiing. I then thought of building a map on Google Maps with all the tracks I know, with some tips for rentals, or schools you can find in the area.
The Revellata Cap, in Corse, near Calvi, is a tongue of red granite that plunges into the emerald sea of this fascinating island. We explored it with a very exciting trek.
I had been looking at the Sassongher peak for some time, during my family holidays in Badia Valley (Gadertal). Finally, I found a way to climb this peak in the Dolomites, which is relatively easy but offers an exceptional panorama.

The excursion from Murtel (Silvaplana) to the Chamanna Coaz, in the upper Val Roseg, via Fuorcla Surlej, is one of the most fascinating itineraries in Engadine, as it takes place, almost entirely, in the presence of the Bernina, Piz Roseg, the Piz Scerscen and their glaciers, which dominate the upper Val Roseg. It is a trek at high altitude, which requires a fair amount of physical effort.
