Eighth consecutive day of Peler at Garda, yesterday; and today it was the ninth.... We satisfied our desire for windsurfing at Pra de la Fam, with a thought for the sirocco of France....

Windsurfing, report: Pra de la Fam (Lake Garda), 08/03/2025

A short comment to accompany the photos of the beautiful windsurfing session at Pra de la Fam, done yesterday.

I had predicted that it would have a Peler of 4.7, and so it was! Actually, to tell the truth, at times the wind would have required even a smaller sail. Despite the still cool temperature (but on land it was fine, and in the water, well dressed, the conditions were acceptable), yesterday there were several windsurfers, fond of the spot, which was nice to see again after the winter. We all really want to seriously start the windsurfing season on the lake again. Click here, to watch the slide gallery of the day.

After last Saturday's day at Caranca, where wingfoils were decidedly prevalent, I had the pleasant feeling of not being an endangered species

Session of about two hours for me, from 9 to 11, with good quality wind especially in the first hour. Water level more orderly at the beginning and then a bit choppy at the end.

At the end of the session, the lake gave us a taste of spring, with 18 degrees, and a bright and colorful panorama.

In short, it was a good workout.
