Tipico wekend autunnale, con vento ma anche brutto tempo in giro.

Centro di bassa pressione posizionato sabato sulle Baleari, e quindi considerando la circolazione antioraria intorno al centro, venti di scirocco e grecale prevalenti sull'Italia. Ma vediamo in dettaglio.

Oggi (venerdì), da metà pomeriggio, inizierà a soffiare ENE da Albenga fino a Hyeres, su tutta la costa tra queste due località. Intensità debole, credo più da wingfoil, ma almeno senza pioggia.

Domani, Tramontana forte, e con freddo e pioggia, sul golfo di Genova e spot di Savona. Vento che da Nord ruoterà, un po' a fatica, fino a soffiare da Est sul sud della Francia, ma tagliando fuori la prima parte della Costa Azzurra, al confine con l'Italia. Vento sicuro e piuttosto forte nella zona di Hyeres (la Bergerie, le Lavandou, Cavalaire sur mer). Per quanto riguarda gli spot più ad Est, Saint Maxime e Cannes vi sono minori certezze, purtroppo, secondo gli scenari delineati dai modelli questa mattina.
Secondo Arome, Saint Maxime dovrebbe lavorare piuttosto bene, con una base sui 20-25 nodi, onda spessa sui 3 metri, e pioggia solo verso le 13. Icon (oltre ad ECMWF), invece danno vento più debole dalle 10,00 in poi nel golfo di Saint Tropez (e pioggia per buona parte del giorno come meteoblue). Bisognerà attendere gli ulteriori aggiornamenti di Arome per maggiore sicurezza. 
Per Cannes, vento ancora più debole (base sui 14-13 nodi per Arome), anche se con direzione da NE, molto buona (side on), e pioggia moderata. Temo che questa sarà eventualmente una condizione sfruttabile dai local francesi di Cannes (e che non valga la trasferta per chi arriva da più lontano).

Per il resto, scirocco sulla costa tirrenica da Terracina a Piombino (possibile spot Castiglione della Pescaia), in possibile esaurimento nel pomeriggio. Scirocco leggero su NE Sardegna (San Teodoro), e più forte su Est Corsica. Scirocco bello teso, sabato, sulla Sicilia e su Salento (sia Ionio che Adriatico, con pioggia).
Grecale nella zona di Venezia (Caorle).

Domenica con poco da segnalare, se non Grecale ancora in zona Venezia, e scirocco la mattina sul Salento (con pioggia abbondante).

Typical autumn weekend, with wind but also bad weather around.

Low pressure center located on the Balearic Islands on Saturday, and therefore considering the anti-clockwise circulation around the center, sirocco and north-east winds prevailing over Italy. But let's see in detail.

Today (Friday), from mid-afternoon, ENE will start blowing from Albenga to Hyeres, on the entire coast between these two locations. Weak intensity, I think more for wingfoils, but at least without rain.

Tomorrow, strong Tramontana, and with cold and rain, over the gulf of Genoa and spots of Savona. Wind that will rotate from the north, somewhat with difficulty, to blow from the east over the south of France, but cutting off the first part of the Côte d'Azur, near the border with Italy. Sure and rather strong wind in the Hyeres area (la Bergerie, le Lavandou, Cavalaire sur mer). As regards the spots further east, Saint Maxime and Cannes, there are fewer certainties, unfortunately, according to the scenarios outlined by the models this morning.
According to Arome, Saint Maxime should work quite well, with a base around 20-25 knots, waves around 3 meters, and rain only around 1pm. Icon (and ECMWF), instead, gives weaker winds from 10am onwards in the gulf of Saint Tropez (and rain for most of the day as meteoblue). We will have to wait for further Arome updates for greater details.
For Cannes, even weaker wind (base on 14-13 knots for Arome), even if with NE direction very good (side on), and moderate rain. I fear that this will eventually be a condition that can be exploited by the French locals in Cannes (and that it will not be worth the trip for those arriving from far locations).

For the rest, sirocco on the Tyrrhenian coast from Terracina to Piombino (Castiglione della Pescaia could be the right spot), possibly running out in the afternoon. Light sirocco on NE Sardinia (San Teodoro), and stronger on East Corsica. Nice sirocco, Saturday, over Sicily and Salento (both Ionian and Adriatic coast, with rain).
Grecale in the Venice area (Caorle).

Sunday with little to report, except Grecale still in the Venice area, and sirocco in the morning over Salento (with abundant rain).
