The mountains and cross-country skiing gave me another memorable day! For some time, I had set myself the goal of going and exploring the area dedicated to cross-country skiing in Saint Barthelemy, in the Aosta Valley. On January 6, 2024 I took the test, and I was enchanted.
The best and hardest track I've ever done! Finally, I succeeded in the feat of covering the entire Val Fex on cross-country skis, in the Engadine, from Sils Maria to Alp Muot Selvas, and to Plaun Vadret.
I often happen to search for new destinations and new tracks to go cross-country skiing. I then thought of building a map on Google Maps with all the tracks I know, with some tips for rentals, or schools you can find in the area.
I had heard from many that the Pusteria and the adjacent valleys offer wonderful trails for cross-country skiing. So I started getting to know the area, beginning from Casies valley, which gave me an unforgettable day.
For some time, I had eyed the top of Monte Stivo, which looms over Arco di Trento, north of Lake Garda, in Trentino, sensing the beauty of the panorama that can be enjoyed from its summit. Its winter ascent gave me a simply perfect day.

The Lej da Staz, between Celerina and Sankt Moritz, Engadin, is an enchanted place. A series of paths, on beaten snow, allows you to reach this stupendous locality and appreciate its charm even in the middle of winter.
